CHARACTER SUMMARY

Koby is a young man who spent a large chunk of his life in servitude on a pirate ship. He dreamed of becoming a Marine and being able to help others like himself but was slowly worn down until he was convinced his dream was stupid and he was never going to get away or amount to anything.
This changed after he was rescued by a pirate called Monkey D. Luffy who claimed that he was going to be king of the pirates who convinced Koby to give his dream a shot.

Since then Koby has gradually started to learn that the world is not as black and white as he once thought and he has been through a gauntlet of moral quandaries that have left him really questioning everything.
